Thinky Pinky

My style will never be in one place. Although I give off a tomboy vibe, I still like to be a bit girly with my colors and textures. I paired my pink leather jacket with frilly socks. I'm sort of giving off a 90's/early 2000's feel to this with my hat and high waist trousers. Think Mary-Kate and Ashley circa 2001 for the hat. I dig it.

This was also the last full day my family was in town. We spent the first half at the Met. They currently are showing the Costume Institute. If you are in NYC, I suggest peeping the clothes!

Studs On My Boots

Today was my youngest sister's Christmas Choir Concert. She acted as a reindeer. She's going to be in 6th grade next year; middle school. She's growing up so fast!

The other day, my new Zara boots came in! I have boots like these, except without the studs, but the thing is, I wear them soo much, that the soles have cracked. So when  it is wet outside, my sock gets wet. And it just so happened that these babies were on sale for only $50!

  • Maroon assymetrical button up: H&M
  • Black leather pants: Target
  • Leopard denim jacket: Urban Outfitters (for only $20 on their 50% off sale!)
  • Black studded booties: Zara
  • Black and gold chain clutch: Steve Madden
  • Clear watch: Marc Jacobs

Newest In...

This past week (or more like couple days), I had a few packages make its way to my home and had to share with you all.

On another note, I am soo close to being done with my exams! Just two more and I will be back on blogging schedule. (-:

  • Simple black mirror watch where the proceeds went to the American Cancer Society. It's for a great cause and the watches are cute!
  • My mom came home, told me to close my eyes, and brought out this awesome gold and black two headed dragon bracelet.
  • When I first saw these boots on Zara, the first thing I thought was: Alexander Wang. He is my absolute favorite designer! These boots totally give off a Wang-esque.
  • I honestly have not used temporary tattoos since I was a little girl and I am excited to start doing it again. Big thank you to Inkwear Tattoos for sending me these cute ones!
  • I have a huge thing for faux leather this season (or just all the time). I first saw this quilted sleeve coat on Zara, but browsed eBay and got it for just $38!
  • As you guys probably noticed, I wear tons of black clothing, so I figure I should change it up with this cobalt blue leather detail coat. Huge thank you to Wendybox for sending it over to me!

New In.

When I first saw the famous ChloĆ© studded ankle boots, I fell in love. So I went searching everywhere for inspired-by boots and saw that Zara had some. But the thing was, the price was way out of the range I would like to spend on shoes.
But then, they finally went on sale for Black Friday and I did not even hesitate to purchase them because I knew they would be sold out by the end of the day. Yay for Zara sales.

  • Denim top: Goodwill - $2
  • Black ripped pants: F21 (old)
  • Leather and beige jacket / Studded boots: Zara
  • Gold snake necklace/ Turquoise and gold ring: Charming Charlie's
  • Gold chevron rings: My jewelry!

Late Night Post

For today's look, I decided to go with a subtle kind of palette. I ended up changing into brown denim skinnies before going to my cousin's birthday party. Haha.

Also, my Zara pointy patent loafers came in today! Eeeep.

  • White top: Thrift store - .99
  • Brown Shorts: Urban Outfitters - $10
  • Spike clutch: I made that myself!
  • Black shoes: Zara

Choies

I have always thought the galaxy print was cool looking, regardless if it relates back to "hipsters" or not. And so I was given this badass of an awesome top from Choies. I really like the fact that it is chiffon (one of my favorite fabrics). So it's light and flowy!

On another note, my Zara heels came in yesterday! They're from the new collection. Ahhh. I actually got a pair without them being sold out! I looked on the site again today and guess what. They're almost sold out. Crazy.

Also! I went to the library again and picked up Thirteen Reasons Why. I'm excited to start reading!

(Okay, so they sent it in this HUGE unnecessary box with the actual shoe box just floating around. Haha.)
P.S. Choies is having a giveaway!
