A Bit Of Edge

I'm sorry, the turtlenecks will never stop! I'm just so in love, okay? I went in a little bit of a different direction with this look. Not by the color, but by the choices of style. I've been into this thick-sole-make-me-a-giant style boot lately. (When I say giant, I mean I'm 6'2 aka borderline beanstalk). But guess what, I don't care because I love these boots! They pretty much tie into the whole look and made it edgy, especially since I paired it with this patent skirt.

Grid

One of my favorite patterns has got to be the grid. It's a fairly simple pattern, but puts the look together nicely. I layered the dress over a turtle neck and threw on a half fur vest to top off the outfit.

  • Black turtle neck: Thrift store
  • Black open to booties: Zara

Little Bandage Dress

I have plenty of little black dresses, but none that are body con type dresses. I have always preferred flowy dresses to bandaged ones. So here's my take on it.

  • Beige coat: c/o Romwe
  • Black pointed boots: Zara
  • Black clutch: Calvin Klein

I Believe In Nashville

Being around Nashville for a good vast majority of my life, I have yet to take pics with this iconic mural on 12 South. Sooo, if you guys ever visit The Ville, make sure you stop here and take some pictures! Along with walking down the street to Jeni's Ice Cream...cause duh, ice cream.

As for my look, I kept it very comfy. After refinding my joggers from Zara, I saw a pair of quilted ones at OMGfashion. Even though it feels like you just rolled out of bed (cause they're basically sweats), you can still give it a chic look (in my case, try).

Enamour Entirety Giveaway

I'm sure you guys have seen the style where slip dresses go over turtlenecks, like pictured here. Well I wanted to re-create something similar, except with a crop top. What caught my eye about this top is that it is totally Alexander Wang inspired (from his Spring collection). Since it's still winter here, I just threw it over a turtle neck!
  • Mesh crop top: c/o OMGfashion
  • Black skirt: Urban Outfitters (similar)
  • Black/oatmeal coat: Calvin Klein
  • Black wedge boots: Asos (similar)
  • Black leather quilted gloves: Micheal Kors (similar)

Pumpkin Patch

Who wears a dress and three inch heeled boots to a pumpkin patch?? I do! It was not bad wearing this combo at all. Although some people might have given me looks, but oh well. I was comfortable.
P.S. Don't forget to enter in the SammyDress Giveaway!
