Spooky Strawberry

For the past few Halloweenies, I have dressed up as characters in scary movies that I have never seen. I'm a scaredy cat, so anything scary does not flow with me well. Every time I dressed up, it was a fashion forward kind of look. More so inspired by that character instead of dressing exactly like them. Check out the past posts:
2013: one / two
This year, I decided to go with one of my favorite things: food. Here I am, a (not so) spooky strawberry. I would have been a carrot, but I don't own any shades of carrot orange.
Which, if you guys are looking for last minute ideas for next Halloween, try opting for a food. You really cannot go wrong, unless it's celery (the only veggie I will not eat).

Friday, The Not So 13th

It's that time of year again where you get free candy from strangers, an overabundance of people dressed as cats , and where you're surrounded by ghosts, but still can't get a boo. Halloween.

This year's look was inspired by Jason from Friday the 13th. I like his earth tone colors and the fact that I could incorporate my anorak that I haven't worn in ages into this outfit. Check out my other Halloweenie looks from the past year: here | here | here

The Curse

Can you tell who inspired this year's Halloween look? Last year, Freddy Kruger inspired my look. So I did some research for this year and this is who I found. Chucky. What caught my attention is the fact that he wears overalls! I'm actually not a fan of scary movies, so honestly I've never seen it! :x

Mask

This is not my official Halloween costume, but masks seem to go hand in hand with Halloween even if it's for masquerades. Let me tell you, finding the right mask for your face is kinda hard! I can't wait to show you guys my costume. What are you all going to dress up as?

Happy Halloween!

I hope all of you had a good one tonight! I dressed up as my Freddy Krueger outfit to school today because I would get extra credit in two of my classes. So why not!

Today, I took my brother (who I spoil until there is no end), to Sonic. He eats way too much for a two year old, but yet he isn't tubby or anything. He totally has his animals mixed up because this little rebel was meowing the whole time. Haha! And later, we went out for trick or treating. ^_^

My new ring came in from eBay!

One, two, Freddy's coming for you...

Three, four, better lock your door..

For this Halloween, I actually wanted to dress up! So I scoured the internet for ideas on what to be since I am totally not into skimpy dress costumes. For one: it is way too cold for that and two: that is definitely not me.
I finally decided on the ever-so-famous, Freddy Krueger, but with a little modern twist of my own. I am pretty sure I have seen this movie only once (well. More like half because I can never unhide myself to watch scary movies. Haha!). As you may or may not know, Krueger actually has dark green and red stripes and a brown hat. But seeing how I do not enjoy wearing brown, I went with a black alternative. So here is my little rendition of Nightmare on Elm Street.

I actually was going to post this on Halloween day, but I am attending a Halloween party tonight and thought, why not just make the post today!
